SUMMER INTERNSHIP 2024
From June 24 to August 30, 2024 we offer sailing and stand up paddle/kayak courses. From Monday to Friday, 5 days, young people will be able to learn about optimist, windsurfing and catamaran. Take a course dedicated to support (the optimist for 6 year olds who can swim, windsurfing from 7 years old and catamaran) or a multi-activity course called Summer Camp!

MORNING COURSE
Target audience: young child or beginner on its support

Optimist

From 6 years to 10 years old knowing how to swim
Optimism is the basis of learning to sail!
Completely unsinkable and stable boat, it provides security and sensation for little sailors.
The notions of driving, maneuvering and pace will be covered.
The objective of these courses: The pleasure of sailing will be the common thread of this stage.

This course is aimed at children who have never done optimist or only for 1 or 2 weeks

Stand Up & Kayak

Learn how to paddle, improve your skills on the board or kayak while discovering the bay of Canoubiers and its marine environment.

The objective of these courses: The discovery of the marine environment and water sports.

Sailboard

Windsurfing is a timeless discipline! Healthy, friendly and in direct contact with nature, it is a classic of board sports in Canoubiers Bay.
Difficult, the board? Not so much actually! To make it easier for the trainee to balance, the floats have become wider and the sail sizes vary depending on the size of the practitioner and the strength of the wind. A few sessions are enough to get your first legs!

The objective of these courses: to acquire a little autonomy, to be able to navigate and have fun.
​
This course is aimed at people who have never done windsurfing.

Ideal for learning about sailing and its pleasures while discovering the marine environment.
An educational and enriching experience, which combines outdoor fun with the development of technical water sports skills and meeting new people.

Objective of the course: a sporting week while leaving room for beach games and relaxation.

Lunch is not included and must be brought or ordered from the snack bar (condition to be seen on site).

Teenage course with a wide range of activities offered: catamaran, windsurfing, paddle...

An immersion as close as possible to the sea through varied nautical activities conducive to teamwork and the development of self-confidence: enough to leave with beautiful memories.

Objective of the course: a sporting week while leaving room for beach games and relaxation.

Target audience: children and adolescents getting by a little on their support

200€ per week of 5-day course + 25€ (5€/day) = 225€

* The Yacht Club de Saint-Tropez is an association which offers services to its members, all our activities are therefore attached to a daily membership card in the absence of a year-round membership card.
Daily membership card: €5
Adult member contribution: €150/year
Youth contribution: €100/year

Equipment provided: all equipment necessary for the activity is provided (life jacket).

Personal equipment to bring: Swimsuit, we recommend that you bring closed shoes (soft slippers for going into the water or old tennis shoes) and sun protection (cream, cap, sunglasses, t-shirt or Lycra).
​
Prerequisites:
- Immerse yourself and then remain on the surface of the water in a vertical and horizontal position without showing real signs of panic
- Immerse yourself then swim at least 25 m (if - 16 years old)
​
- Dive then swim at least 50 m (if over 16 years old)
